THE IGNORANCE THAT KILLS

One of the things we see most often on social media are videos and comments from people who remain anonymous, using their “bot” profiles with Palestinian flags to accuse Israel and its supporters. There are also those who have no shame and show their faces, mixing curse words, threats, and slogans, without truly understanding the real meaning of what they say, sing, or wear!

All of a sudden, millions of people have become “experts” on Middle Eastern conflicts! In rare cases, they admit their ignorance. Recently, at a pro-Hamas rally in the U.S., two women fully “wrapped” in the Palestinian flag were asked: “Did you also react this way to the Hamas attack and invasion of Israel on October 7?” They looked at each other in shock and replied, “What attack are you talking about?” Then one of them said, “Maybe I need to get more informed about that…” In other words, they admitted their ignorance of the facts, in the purest sense of the word: ignorant = one who ignores.

The truth is that millions of people have been indoctrinated by a jihadist playbook without even being Muslims. This is astonishing, because that playbook preaches the extermination of the Jewish people and the establishment of an Islamic empire not only in Israel but throughout the world! The universe of Hamas is totalitarian, radically Mohammedan, and does not tolerate any expression of faith that differs from Islam.

The territory ruled by Islam is called “Dar al-Islam” – the “house of peace.” The territory in transition, that is, not yet under Islamic rule, is called the “house of war.” For this reason, Hamas and other extremist groups believe they have the right to Jihad (the Islamic holy war), which will only end when the world submits to Islam. The other term, “Dar al-Harb” – “house of war,” also referred to as “Dar al-Gharb” – “house of the West,” is used for countries not under Islamic rule. The term “Al Gharb” even gave rise to the name Algarve in Portugal, with which Brazil was united as a kingdom in 1815.

The “Harbi” (infidel) is the “non-Muslim” who lives in an area not yet subjected to Islam, and consequently considered a land of war. Therefore, the terrorist group Hamas makes it clear in its charter that it is not willing to negotiate territories or accept “peaceful solutions” proposed by international bodies—only territorial conquests through Jihad.

When crowds of people (many of them university students) around the world carry Hamas and Palestinian flags with banners reading “FROM THE RIVER TO THE SEA – Palestine will be free” and sing along, they are clearly and directly declaring that Israel has no right to exist on the land stretching from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea, not a single square centimeter. In reality, that slogan preaches the annihilation of the Jewish people and the end of the State of Israel, fully aligning with the jihadist playbook of Hamas and other groups. The fact that people ignore this agenda or the sequence of events does not make them innocent. They have blood on their hands and are complicit in the atrocities committed by Hamas.

Much has been said about a “ceasefire.” There was a ceasefire, until October 6, when Israel was cowardly invaded. Who is the aggressor in this story? If someone insists that it’s Israel, that person is either ignorant or acting in bad faith! Need proof? The videos of the October 7 massacre were recorded by Hamas members themselves. Everything is documented, the murders, beheadings, and the bodies of entire families bound and executed, burned beyond recognition. Among the atrocities, in addition to the corpses of babies, was the body of a pregnant woman with her belly slit open and the fetus pulled out, the umbilical cord still attached.

If a person feels no outrage at these horrors, it’s clear that their antisemitism is structural,and they don’t even bother to hide it. The blood of a Jew means nothing to such a person (though it should mean a great deal—for moral, historical, and even theological reasons).

So, is Israel not allowed to defend itself and strike back at the enemy, just because an unprepared academic elite and a group of agitators claim that terrorism should not be answered with war? How, then, should one respond to 1,400 murders committed with unimaginable cruelty—women raped, children and countless babies kidnapped? Yes, rapes—there are videos recorded by Hamas in which terrorists select and separate women to be raped or killed, as confirmed by the interrogation of a captured terrorist!

Should the Israeli army be replaced by a group of UN “soldiers” singing John Lennon’s pacifist song “Give Peace a Chance” while handing flowers and chocolates to jihadist enemies? And then what? Ignore everything? Sweep it under the rug and promote a “peace agreement” exchanging kidnapped civilians for Hamas terrorists, broadcast live on CNN, BBC, and Al Jazeera, showing the multi-billionaire Hamas leader in Qatar smiling and shaking hands with a Western leader?

And the accusations that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza? Are you going to pray according to that script too? Israel is the victim of a terrorist attack. Hamas is the aggressor. It’s that simple. There are no “both sides.” There is no moral equivalence between Israel and terrorist groups like Hamas. Our society and our leaders must be honest enough to call it what it is: TERRORISM!

Massacring civilians in their homes, abducting women and children, desecrating and displaying the mutilated bodies of victims,this is the exact behavior of ISIS and Al-Qaeda.

The perpetrators of these crimes are not heroes or martyrs. They are terrorists who hide in hospitals and schools to use civilians as human shields, and then play the victim when civilians die! Normalizing or justifying these despicable crimes against humanity under the pretext of “freedom” or “liberation” is nothing more than covering up terrorism.

That said, the truth is that the Israel Defense Forces have never done anything comparable to what the jihadists have done. Never in human history has an army warned civilians to evacuate an area before an attack,hundreds of thousands of phone calls and leaflets sent out.

It’s astonishing how society has inverted its moral values! As the Bible says:
