Our Mission

ALIYAH RETURN CENTER

Serving Those Returning to the Promised Land

The Aliyah Return Center (ARC) is a non-profit organization located on the shores of the Sea of Galilee, dedicated to supporting Jewish people returning to Israel in fulfillment of the ancient prophecies of the Bible.

Founded by Chaim Malespin, the ARC provides housing, vocational training, social, and spiritual support to new immigrants (olim), helping them settle and thrive in the Land of Israel.

The vision of the ARC is simple yet profound: to help restore Israel, one family at a time, according to the Word of God.

More than three decades ago, Dean Bye, a Canadian and founder of Return Ministries, had his life transformed after reading Romans 11:11 on a license plate in front of him. At that moment, he understood that the calling of a redeemed gentile was to provoke Israel to jealousy, meaning to show love and care for the Jewish people.

He left his business in Canada to dedicate himself to helping exiled Jews from the former Soviet Union return to the Promised Land. Moved by this purpose, he began a journey that would unite Canada and Israel in a shared prophetic destiny. When Chaim Malespin and Dean Bye came together, their visions aligned: on one side, the practical experience of someone who had lived the process of Aliyah; on the other, the conviction that the nations have an active role in the restoration of Israel.

From this partnership came the Aliyah Return Center (ARC), a place of compassion and hope on the shores of the Sea of Galilee.

Our Mission

Between 1989 and 2006, about 1.2 million Jews from the former Soviet Union immigrated to Israel under the Law of Return. This was one of the largest Aliyah movements in modern history, known as the “great wave.”

At the same time, thousands of Ethiopian Jews were also arriving in the Promised Land, facing unique challenges of cultural and social integration.

The Aliyah Return Center (ARC) emerged in this very context, responding to a real need: to provide human and spiritual support to families arriving in Israel without housing, employment, or community.

Since then, the center has served as a bridge between Jews and Christians, fulfilling the role of the nations in the divine plan for the restoration of Israel.

In addition to supporting immigration, the Aliyah Return Center (ARC) carries out a range of humanitarian initiatives that strengthen social cohesion in the Galilee and offer dignity and practical assistance to people living in local communities.

The center supports Holocaust survivors, ensuring that their basic needs, such as housing, food, and medical care are met with compassion and respect. It also operates a free clothing store, where new immigrants can obtain garments at no cost, easing the financial pressure of their resettlement process.

In addition, the ARC provides vocational courses and technical training to help olim acquire practical skills, find employment, and integrate sustainably into Israeli society.

IDI + ARC: A PROPHETIC PARTNERSHIP

The partnership between the IDI – Churches in Defense of Israel and the Aliyah Return Center (ARC) was born out of a shared desire to bring Brazil and Israel closer together in a tangible and biblical way.

Through this alliance, IDI will help amplify the voice and mission of the ARC in Brazil by presenting its work during conferences and events, and by directing the offerings collected to cover the costs of lodging, meals, and travel for the Israeli speakers.

This collaboration is more than a technical agreement; it is the fulfillment of an ancient promise:

“See, I will lift up My hand to the nations and raise my banner for the peoples; they will bring your sons in their arms and carry your daughters on their shoulders.” (Isaiah 49:22)

Today, in the midst of the challenges Israel faces, this message echoes with authority and hope, uniting Jews and Christians around the same purpose: to bless Israel and to cooperate with God’s plan for the nations.

The “For Zion’s Sake I Will Not Keep Silent” Conference will be a historic gathering, bringing together leaders, churches, and ministries who understand that remaining silent concerning Israel is to deny their own faith.

The Brazilian Church is being called to rise up in love, intercession, and action.

Get ready for March. Get ready for a prophetic movement that will connect Brazil and the Galilee - from Zion to the nations.

Your support is important!
